Default Help needed for manual TDC

I finally started a U-Boat campaign and i'm having trouble with 1 aspect of the manual TDC. The spread angle, torpedo speed and torpedo depth are all in the attack map. I'm use to making these settings from the periscope. Is there any way of doing so without having to go to the attack map? Or did i miss something obvious?

Im afraid theres only one option.
You need to find a mod which allow adjust these settings in scope view, like in OMEGU. There You have thing called Karamazov ( or something like that ) and it allow to enter all the adjustments in scope view.

I have another question but i don't want to start a new thread for that.

Do merchant ships have hydrophones??? Its happen a few times now where i'm trying to sneak into a convoy lane, pop the peri up and notice they're all starting to scatter! WTH is happening? How did they know i was there? I wasn't maneuvering with any periscope up.

EDIT: I think i saw one of the merchant ships with a sonar of some sort (according to the nav map.) Is this correct? Were merchant ships equipped with sonars in 1943?

Im afraid You're right, the merchants can hear You when You're going faster than ahead 1/3. I've encounter this problem many times.
Also when You on periscope depth and even moving slowly, when You on their path they will know too and turn or even go backwards to avoid colission.
