Cool I request a mission.

I want a hardcore mission built for the Type II submarine. I like that sub because it is a challenge waiting to happen.

Define hardcore. Are we talking "arcade" hardcore or "historical" hardcore? Going to war in the Type II was pretty hardcore to begin with. The thing was too slow, had too few torpedoes, had short range and worst of all, was single hull (Shallow crush depth). Anyone in a Type II who can keep up with the average performance of a Type VII in one of those things is pretty respectable, game engine irregularities notwithstanding. What do you want?

Thumbs up

I want a Historical hardcore mission. A realistic Type II situation. You can do what you want from there.

This is a good idea for a thread I can think of plenty of challenges for your TypeII, but none are remotely serious!

I agree about the TypeII though, there's a certain degree of satisfaction from sinking a big warship, then surfacing to blow raspberries.

Let me do some research and see what I can do. If anyone else produces something faster, don't wait for me.

I think it had been abandoned. Type II is a pain to handle.

I know this may be a bit random, but I am working on recreating the attack on Sydney Harbour in June 1942 by the IJN. I am substituting the IJN midget type "A" sub with the German type II u- boat. I am half way thru the research in the harbour defenses and ships present at the time. I have test run the Type II, and oddly enough, it looks like the IJN midget sub. Should be available in about a weeks time. It will be hard as in real life. None of the midget subs survived.
Would that suit your craving for a Type II mission?
