Default Shipwrecks?

Hi,
I noticed two kind icons of shipwrecks on the 2D map.
With red title (and white small dot) and black. Any idea why?

Example:

I noticed that - don't know for sure

Is it possible the ones with the white dot are the ones still putting out a sound signature - thus still liable to attract a homing torpedo?

Just a thought

Wild guess. Destroyed but still afloat and on the bottom?

The colour depends on whether you have a sonar contact with a wreck or not.
