I really like what I see in the mod, but can anyone share some guidelines about the OLC widescreen Range/AOB periscope tool? I see that the zoom is 10x compared to the regular OLC, and all my calculations on the tool are dead wrong.

Being a newcomer to this mod I have trawled through all the posts and pdf's but cannot find any mention on how the crew is used.

Should I add additional crew to fill the blank crew slots?

I have enabled the no crew fatigue mod.

It is important the application you start an existing game with?

Should this always be LSH3 2015 Commander?

Hi guys just a couple more questions.

Using the stadimeter is to the top of the flag or the tallest mast?

I docked and moved my crew and gave out the medals ok.
But where do I go to and what do I press so I can use my renown to change my torpedo choice and select any available equipment upgrades for the VIIB.

I liked the ambiance in Wilhelmshaven with the cranes and buildings etc.
SH5 is very sterile in comparison.

The lock gates also was an unexpected an interesting first challenge.

The crew-slots are fullfilled - there will be no more available places.
The empty ones are used for recovery, which is not necessary if you use the nofatigue-Mod.

If you once started a career with the Commander you should continue to start with it.

Use stadimeter to the top of the highest mast.
Back in the bureau go to the table on the right side (U-BOAT MANAGEMENT) and klick on (U-BOATS / ALL) then you will be able to change torpedoes or improve the boat.

Just loving this mega mod to bits.

Have not worked out yet how to get the speed so having to enter it manually so far.

Learning by my mistakes I now realize I have to press the green tick 2 times to alter the TDC.

Hi there, first off, let me congratulate you on this mod, yes there are a few bugs, but that always happens in any new programme, the issue I mainly run into is applying the add on dials AFTER the widescreen gui is applied which is a shame as I like the OLC gui, but I don't like the dials up the side, I find them awkward to use, and a bit small too, I'm not as young as I was so my eyesight has been murdered by mass ingestions of Asbach and Uncle Jack, but I am sure as the mod matures, we will be able to make our own additions into the setup ( I hope ) I do have one question though, sorry if I am being a little dense here, when I lock up a target in either UZO or Periscope, I don't get any range, AOB speed info at all ( I don't do manual targeting, not grasped the concept, and I'm totally crap at maths ) so my question is, is this set on manual targeting by default, even if I do not have it selected in the setting menu prior to patrol start......also a clue as to which mods that are available outside of LSH will work ( sound mods etc ) would be helpful....keep up the good work !!

Hmmm I have done that, ie I have it on cheating mode as in I don't calculate my own solutions, however, when I lock up a target either in UZO or Peri, I get no course, speed, AOB information in the box to the right of the controls for unleashing hell, if I click the tick it does update the bits and bobs on the settings dials, all except the range one, which confuses me somewhat, as the range seems to be stuck on default 5000 m and as there is no clue in the info box, I am basically spraying and praying, I know that maybe I should try the manual method, however, quite frankly I do not find that enjoyable. and I am quite happy to have the crew do their stuff on my behalf ( I also throw Capitains parties and award sticky stars out to 'em for being good little sailors ) I know its only a minor thing, but it does confuse me a bit, as with any other mod, that info is displayed by default.....The accurate flags thing bugs me somewhat to, I appreciate it is a German designed and executed mod, and I understand why the OPTION for not showing the Hakenkreuz on the ensign would be there, however, well it just bugs me somewhat lol lol lol

Oh I not been away, always been here, just sneakin' around in the murky shadows of Subsim, waiting for an alternative for GWX ( which is still brilliant by the way ) and now LSH has a chance to take the mantle of greatness, when it gets properly up and running that is

Hi trotski

With the game options > Manual Targeting box ticked.

With the game options > No Weapons Officer Assistance box not ticked.

Lock the target L key.

Go to the WO icon and use the Identify Target icon.

Next to it is the Target Solution icon that the WO will enter all the data in to the TDC for you.

All you need to do is make sure the torpedo doors are open Q key.

Set your torpedo speed and depth.

Keep the target locked L key.

You can see the firing solution by pressing the F6 Attack Map key.

You can update the firing solution at any time by using the Target Solution icon again.

Press the fire button when the gyro angle shows 000.

Thank you for a great mod! First time tried LSH after GWX. Don't get me wrong GWX is great but after years got a bit tired of it and could not believe something can surprise me - but LSH did! Thanks!
