Default How can I determine the range of air patrols from their base?

Dear Kaleuns,
What the title says, but I assume there are differences depending on the date and what aircraft, but what is a safe radius for a circle to draw on the map with centre on an airfield?

Thanks,
promitheas

Click on an airbase on the nav map.

Then you will see a small red airplane mark in the upper left hand from the airbase. You may need to click on the airbase a few times to see this little mark.

Then grab your compass, draw a circle from the base to the little red mark and you have your range circle!

In my game, this circle appears automatically when I zoom out enough the map and simply hower over the airbase with my mouse, but in TWoS and RN which I don't always play it is different of course.
You should be able to get the list of planes present in bases if you click on it, and if the ID-Book has no data about planes, especially their range, the Museum (main menu) for sure has.
