triple 25 mm guns on the hangar top as in RL, and maybe a single/dual 25 mm gun on the tub.

Ko Hyoteki ready as a stand alone sub, but I still don't know about that one, would be playable in single missions only if included.

see post 528 in this thread for more pictures .

Since this picture was made we added the Type 92 7.7 mm AA gun, which you will get at the start of a campaign as normal armament. There are the 3 inch DG, the 5.5 inch DG, the dual 5.5 inch DG etc.. They all have their dedicated ammo too.

We have a wide variety of subs, like the I-47 C2 Type with 8 fore torpedo tubes !

As you can see we have a type 88 periscope 3d model, a RL IJN periscope view (Arclight made the night filter for the observation scope), new torpedoes with own 3d model and RL characteristics, including kaitens, IJN gauges, clock...

All models are made from RL data : pictures , blueprints, data..

for more info on all that we included in the Jyunsen B mod so far :

http://www.mediafire.com/file/yyhkiy...mod%20v1.1.pdf

more will be in the campaign including AI enemy subs, Ohka suicide rocket planes etc...

I hope also that you guys will provide permissions to use all those beautiful submarines as AI ships for the US campaign, either as targets or as ambush for us subs

Ko hyoteki patch for Jyunsen B mod :

Midway sneak :

I have my sights set on you !

This happenned at Pearl too !

if the stand alone mod had 4+2 torpedoes, this one has no reloads !!! you'll have to choose your targets and aiming points carefully to score a sinking (the IJN Sinking Mechanics mod helps )

This sub brings the total number of subs in the Jyunsen B mod, and the coming campaign, to 15 !

But the japanese subs have already this campaign, where they are protagonists ... also it is logical that you use the US ones as targets in your campaign

maybe, maybe we could start the war earlier than Dec 7 1941...

I already had a thought about the war in Manchuria when I obtained Dagon's Lemninet L15 submarine for our campaign, since it was sunk off the USA by I-25, I think there were naval skirmishes between IJN and russian forces.

gotta research what forces the chinese had to pit against the IJN

You total right

Translate from russian: (22 february 1939)
"Hryukin Timophey Anatolievich receive Heroes of Soviet Union for sinking japanese aircraft carrier "Yamato-Maru" 1 march 1938 in Yantsy river near Nanking... "
"1 марта в водах Хуанхе был потоплен легкий авианосец «Ямато», так и не успевший поднять свои самолеты для перехвата - слишком медленно они стартовали при отсутствии встречного воздушного потока и малой скорости корабля в узкой для маневра и изобилующей мелями акватории реки."
(in english): 1 march in water Huanhe was sunk light carrier "Yamato", who is not rise himself planes for intercept - slowly planes launched with abscent wind and slow speed carrier in river.

I himself forget where Nanking - in Yantsy or Huanhe... In soviet sources say that carrier was sunk near Nanking, but rivers 2 - Yantsy and Huanhe. What right I unknow.

In you foto - china (soviet volunteers) panes "SB-2" attack aircraft carrier "Hosho" in waters near Taiwan.

All information about japan navy in war witn China now total lost. For example I know, that IJN submarines use shees planes for find chinese merchant ships and captured after finding, but I nothnig now about total. Few remarks that it's was and all....

Default Fighting the Kaichu

Bridge view

Night DG Attack in the IO I feel like the I-10 commander in Gochin !

Above : DG attack on a small passenger carrier with so few torpedoes on board small targets get DGed !

nice small (same size as a Typ IX..) IJN submarine, the only downside is the amount of torpedoes ..

but she still can do some damage with the heavier torpedoes like the Type 96 or the Type 95 mod 2 and their 1200 pounds of explosive !

Very cool stuff as always I find I get most attached to small submarines as I guess the extra risk gets your adrenaline pumping! This is my most anticipated mod of the many many I follow

Default About the Bridge View screen below:

This is a interesting view from the bridge though sometimes it's hard to see the horizon. Can you walk out to the open part of the bridge and have a clearer view of the horizon or what's directly in front of you?

Edit: I found that you can walk around the bridge. I walked toward the back and even down to the bow. Excellent.

Default Sunk

Lieutenant Commander Mochitsura Hashimoto at the periscope of I-58

I just received "Sunk, the story of the Japanese Submarine Fleet 1941-1945" by Mochitsura Hashimoto, First Edition 1954. There are very few pictures in this book but one caught my attention : the commander at the periscope this is a very rare picture !!!!
