Looks like the DST toy but I don't own one. The other DST phaser types all have plastic plugs covering screws on one side or the bottom. Let me see what I can find out.

I couldn't find any tear down threads although there looked like one was at RPF but it dead ended.

Anyway, here's a video of the latest prop I've built. It's the Photon Collector used in STIV: The Voyage Home when Checkov is in the Enterprise carrier.

I've opened a YouTube account for my props. Let me know what you think.

Catch up time.

EVA Rifle builds. Three heroes from studio rotocast shells and one solid recast build. The heroes light the control panel and have a photo flash for the plasma bursts.

Next up is the Voyager desktop viewer again made with studio parts.

I was a bit disappointed the light panel was brighter at the top and bottom but that was mainly due to how close it needed to be to the graphic. The DS9 viewer following is the exact same system with about 1/4" more distance to the graphic.

Now the DS9 desktop viewer. This is a far more interesting viewer in my opinion and again it was made from studio parts. I'm now realizing the images shows the prop all but finished.
