broken tdc by commander random event

Hi i was reading a very old post by other reasons and i get an idea i didnt find in game: broken tdc by random event in commander (by a trick of course)

a pre h.sie patch torpedo failure fix, but, he edit dials file by commander.
So a good way to "break TCD" is set dial for speed into 0-0.5kt, but it has an issue with wolfpack contacts (but i dont think you wanna attack a convoy in a wolfpack with proken TDC.

So im interested if someone could giveme some help becose dials file and moddification effects are out my actual knolage. Its probale a side effect im not see.

Also in this tread him also add some ideas for a bold and snorkel malfuntion and imposibility of crash dive (last one i dont like so much) but both changing the command file can be used for: broken uzo, broken radio (sending reports i dont know if its posible to cut incomming radio bit this is not full game change, but mybe could be use to dont report and dont get wolfpack report).

If some one could confirm me that wac 5 commander sh3 light files have the right entries for German Uboat complation (no eagle) or han solo cahnge something inside .dat files?
