Default I got SHIII to run on Win 10

1st. Install SHIII directly into your main drive, mine is C:\ DO NOT CREATE A FOLDER TO INSTALL INTO.

2nd. Update game via Patcher in game folder (Support)

Then, I downloaded below from SHIII workshop

LIVING SILENT HUNTER III EDITION 2015. Copy and place in the SHIII folder then run frm there.

use full install, then follow all instructions.

I have just come from doing exactly this and run the game for 20 minutes perfectly.

I haven't had a problem running it after a Win7 to Win10 update. You must have been lucky.....

I ran SH3 on Win10 for a long time with no problems, and I did create a new folder, and another one inside of it. The only reason I'm not doing it now is that I had to do a reformat and it defaulted back to the 8.1 it came with. I'm still having no problems.
