Ok then, FOTRS v1.3. I'll load it up and see what I get.

Deleting the Documents/SH4 folder will clear out any old stuff that's lingering within the game. Yes, you'll lose a past saved game (if you've got a favorite play that you've saved), or lose your options settings (you just need to reset them when you restart again) but, clearing out your SH4 folder is defiantly something players should do.....especially if your switching out mods. Left over files in these areas must be deleted in order for new content to be used. AND, you never want to reuse a saved point of play if you've changed mods......that's something you should NEVER DO.

I’ll try to delete the document/SH4 and see...anyway, i always can save my current folder in other place so i don’t loose anything.

No - that would be a problem.
If you only change pure texture files in the texture folder, that may work out.
Further changes are exactly as CapnScurvy and Beanie said.

Fifi, upon further review I've found out what else I did to get the moon back into the FOTRS sky. I'll admit, I've probably forgotten more than some will.......Ok, I just forgot!!

Besides adding the Stock game "Moon.dds" and the "moon_hallo.dds" to the Data/Textures/TLowRes/tex and the Data/Textures/TNormal/tex folders; you also need to copy/paste these next two Stock game files from the Data/Shaders/Sky folder......."MoonPS.fx" and "MoonVS.fx". Both will have a creation date of 1/30/2007.

Once these 6 Stock game files have replaced the FOTRS version of the files you'll get this:

Sorry to not have steered you correctly in the first place, but I wasn't going to quit until I got it right for you!

Ok, after multiple tests, the moon problem in FOTRS 1.3 is solved by copying vanilla 2 moon files in Shader/Sky.
The 2 DDS moon files in Texture/Tex have nothing wrong. They are even better than vanilla. One of those DDS file (the moon halo) is not 512x512, but it’s no problem. My guess is they put it in 1024x1024 to avoid the awful moon halo banding.
All is working nice just by putting back vanilla Shader/Sky.

An other FOTRS 1.3 quick one:

Is there any chance to sink the heavy cruiser Mogami with only one torpedo impact?
Just because i engaged a task force, but only one of my three torp impacted...
Do i have to wait and try to follow him so he will not unspawn alive?
(The good one hit him on middle flank side)
