Icon9 Type IIa & IId (vanilla&GWX) MODEL BUG found

So there is a problem. I found in the game, that the left rudder of depth, on both types of submarines, slightly offset to the left. This annoying bug creators of the game, which is very annoying to me as a perfectionist in particular. In the drawings of submarine, found in google, I saw that the rudders should be symmetrical, but in the game it is not. It may be-someone with a good eye and 3D modeling skills can help me(us all)? I love that little submarine types and this modelbug is so annoying. pls someone.

P.S. i cant get u a type IIa ingame image of the rudders, but you can see it yourself in game. Just start a test career with freecam option and look below the nose of sub.

Thank u very much. Sry for bad english.

Hi tom2189!

You mean this error:

No 3D skills needed... just open dat/Submarine/NSS_Uboat2A.dat & NSS_Uboat2D.dat

Now change the translation x value to: 0,026 ...et voila!

Or failing that, return the disc or mod for a full refund

Thank you very much my friend!

P.S With all respect, it seems to me that 0,024 looks correctly.

Problem solved. You can close the topic, but before, let me introduce a new "Correct Type II Fore Rudders Mod"))):

Thank you for posting the fix as a mod. It is appreciated. I think we'll leave the thread open in case anyone has more questions about this.

I think it is excellent, but I don't use it because it doesn't include Water Streams and I don't know how to make it work.

As for the other, I haven't tried it.

I don't think so.

Do you see the differences?

It's not enough to shift the fore plane. The whole depth rudder construction [front & rear] is faulty [the outer holders of the plane rotation axles are burried in plane bodies].

I've tried to correct this by extracting the affected parts from TKSS18's mod, removed the faulty parts in genuine models and merged them into it.

Maybe there're some little adaptions and corrections left to do yet.

Corrected Depth Planes for Types IIA,B,D [water streams included]

Thanks to TKSS18
