Default Kill ratio

Hi fellas!

I got single question, its about how much you sucsseeded to shoot down enemy ACE pilots (in single mission or campaign) in head to head engagement(you know...you alone in yours "metal bird" agains other enemy ace pilots.

My personaly record is:

BF 109K(my plane) vs Two La 7(ace pilots) - Two La7 shoot down.

Fw 190 vs La 7(ace pilots) - Two La7 shoot down.
(i think i´m was in Fw190A6 version, not recoling this becase it pass some time from this engagment)

Fw 190D9 vs two Yak 3(Ace) - two Yak´s shoot down.

GAME VERSION on which i played:Il2_1946 and other (previous) versions of IL2.
Games setings: High realism.

(OK i´m not playing IL2 constantly, currently im on SH3 but im courious how high rating got other players who playing IL2 more often)

By the way, its interesting how the "East Front Air War" whas not mentioned or descriptioned too well in previos historical book´s what i read.
I lisened only about Spitfires, Hurricanes,Mustangs and similar...never heard(before the IL2 showed up) about grand engagements over east front, just sligt, small hints was mentioned.

A total of 490 planes +1,100 missions on the Eastern Front from March 1941-April 1945. Flew a BF-109 and later an ME-262. When Photobucket decides to stop being such a whiny bitch about my bandwidth, then I'll upload the screenshot.

Well I am doing an eastern fromt campaign in the Mig-3. 6 or 7 missions flown and 13 aircraft to my credit.

Not sure if any aces are in it, does IL-2 record it if you shoot down and ace in battle?

No AFAIK, but when DCG is used, there's aces in the enemy airforces which are then recorded if someone shoots him down during sortie. Tho, dont know if they are aces in difficulty or just have certain amount of kills.

Cant say I have ever played campaign against aces. When I use DCG, I just put the skill level to random/squadron based.

So, I think 3 on one sortie is my record vs. human players on full realism server. :hmm:

I currently don´t have my records in campaign´s, because i recently reformated my comp. and did not save my previous play data.

but rating what i writen on my first post originates from my memory when i played IL2 oftenly.

This ratings are achived during play on Quick Mission Generator.
(my setings was, I alone vs. two or more enemy planes)

Lol. Reminds me of that Wal-Mart South Park episode:

RANDY: "Stan!"

STAN: "Dad?!"

RANDY: "Stan! L-look here! Roller skates for only $15.99! You've gotta buy these, son! Oh look over there... a CD for only $5.68!"

STAN: "Dad?"

KYLE: "He's gone, Stan."
