Default Can't get attack periscope to raise. (GWX 3.0)

Hey all, started having a weird issue today where I would load a save or start a patrol, then suddenly I couldn't raise my periscope. It would elevate ever so slightly and then automatically lower itself. I can elevate it to full position using the page up key but it never "unblurs" and retracts immediately after releasing the key. I initially thought I had a stuck key or something, but this isn't the case :/. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

I do have the hsie patch. Downloaded it along with some GWX hardcode fixes that were causing some CTD's. That .bat may or may not have included Stiebler as well.

Fixed! Thanks for mentioning HSIE! Figured out that the "periscope fix" in the options selector for hsie was screwing with it.

Could also be SH3 Commander's Sabotage and Malfunctions feature. Deal with it as best as you can as the real commanders had to do.

Fun Trivia:

One of Erich Topp's highest scoring patrols.

Outbound he keeps mentioning a fault with the attack scope in the patrol report. Something about percentage of moisture in it and fogging up. They couldn't fix it.

Ended up using the observation scope the whole patrol.

Darn yard workers.
