Default Real Fleet Boat Mod Error

Hiya, first off I'm new to these forums, I normally patrol off the ubi forums to be honest. I'm running SH 1.5 with RFB, Operation Monsun and Run Silent Run Deep hooked up. Now it all works great except for this really irritating noise that crops up if my crew sees a plane, it generally happens if it breaks my time compression. It sounds kind of like an alarm, only it carries on looping until i save and reload. Anyone?

My computer won't run SH4, so I can't help. I just came by to say WELCOME ABOARD!

Hi Magikhairbrush, welcome aboard.

I've seen other people mention looping sounds, but only when they reload a previously saved mission. Other people, including me have got a really loud horrible sound when starting a new mission, but they seem to be stock issues, not related to RFB. Try posting in the RFB mod sticky in the Silent Hunter 4 Mods forums and you'll get some help there if it is related to RFB.

I'm running a similar configuration and get the same problem, although I haven't associated it with aircraft spotting. It's annoying, to be sure, but I have no idea where it lies -- RFB, OM, RSRDC, etc.

Try running it without OM, I have no proof it could be the cause, as Lurker does an excellent job making sure he has no compatibility problem.

Also what order do you have the mods installed?

actually, its probably in the soundfiles....do you have soundmods installed?

i had the ultimate soundmod installed...and i had Kosh's stealthy sub soundmod installed over it and it was horible....it made a wooshing sound whenever i bumped up TC

that might be it

if you spawn too close to something it will give you strange noises from hull scraping and sometimes you even get immediate damage as well.

make sure you are not in shallow water or near anything when you save. if you do save in shallow water do it from complete stop on surface to avoid issues.
