Darker nights

Anyone know how to make the nights darker in TMO?

Once had a mod from Armistead but lost it, he no longer has it from what understand. Night surface attacks at realistic distances and escape etc were possible. Currently, getting into position is possible but escaping after impact is nearly impossible unless fire from far away, trying to find the balance once had. .

I sent it to you via my old AOL email. I went to check it and since I haven't used it in years, it's no longer valid. If you still have that email I sent it to, you could pull it from there.

I do still have it on my old PC packed somewhere in the basement and I'm slowly cleaning my way to it. I have no idea what box it's in, lol.

As I recall, I just worked the weather file for night, 3rd one,...rather obvious with the colors. It's just been so long I cant remember all the files or correct ones. I took the approach of darker colors and used the light factors for the sun, {which adjust the moon at night}to adjust slowly visual range. Adjusting the colors and light factors at night greatly affect visuals. I may have adjusted the other weather types because I didn't like all the blue of TMO, mainly water, but seems I just adjusted water color. I think I adjusted a few factors in the cfg or sim for visual angle on the sub, so if you stayed narrow and under 10 kts, at night you could get into about 1500 yards, attack and turn to escape. I also cut the spotlights off on all the merchants and capital ships, because it made them such easy targets at night. If you find it just check all the files and how they work with other mods you use.

I will endeavor to find my old PC, been getting the urge to play again myself.
