maybe some advice?

ive been playing around with some of the mods that I got on here,and I had SH4v.1.3 and I just finished upgrading to v1.4. can anyone maybe get me the links to some of the best SSGN or SSBN sub mods that actually work? ive noticed a lot that would install but not properly load,missing conning towers,or just not loading the game period,saying its missing tga or dds files. any help would be awesome. im pretty new to subsim,but not SH4,used to have SH3,but I lost it in a fire of all things. if possible,maybe somebody has missile subs that the missiles work?

well,nevermind about the v1.4 patch,i have the steam version,and every time I go to patch it the install wizard says it cant detect any previous version of the game on the HDD. anyone know how to correct that,by chance? otherwise im still looking for the same type of mods,but for SH4 v1.3
