Hello sailers. Running Grey wolves mod with sh3 commander I was wondering when The war start date actually is

I believe it is as historically correct - September 3, 1939.

You will know it when all the ports of England change from green to red.

Hello,
If you hit the "F1" key it brings up an information screen with a link titled "Enemies of Germany" that leads to a table that has the dates of the declarations of war for all participants in WWII. Just be aware that the table uses the European date style: DD/MM/YYYY.

World War 2 began on 1st September 1939 when Germany invaded Poland.
SH3 reflects that by turning all Polish ports and cities to red on that date.
