Just thought I would share these if anyone is interested.

Increased Deck Gun & AA Ammo Mod v1.1a (1.2 compatible)

Modded with the mini tweaker by timetraveller
with tweak files created by nvdrifter

Install with JSGME

Changelog v1.1a April-05-2007

(this makes the upgraded conning tower avail from the start so early s18 patrols

Hi Shad43... many thanks for job and effort.

But please, Megaupload is a BS. Dont let me to download them if i not install their Tool Bar...

@ Cyber Ops... i can download the files of Shad43, but i soupose they are not uncompatibles. The chages he made are into another files.

yeah but the ammo change also has depthcharges.sim and .zon and those are also in your mod.

Cyberops, my mod only affects the weapon .sim files, so should work ok with Redwine's mod.
Sorry about the Megaupload but I hate Rapidshare with a passion!
Maybe someone else can upload them to other places.

"EDIT" on second thought I'll go ahead and upload this to RS for Redwine!

Hope you enjoy the mods.

Was a small error in the Ammo mod, fixed it
seems I got depthcharges.sim and .zon in there, oop's
fixed now, links updated!
if you already dl it just delete those 2 files.

Yes your files do not touch depth charges files... both are compatible... only... i had tweaked the 40mm AAA yet, i had changed the reload and recoil times.

I left those depthcharge files in there by accident, had some mods mixed.

It was brought to my attention that my readme files "did not" properly acknowledge
those responsible for the modding tools used to create them.
This has been "corrected"
New links have been updated, please re-download to have proper readme's.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk when I posted that. I guess it's easy for people to forget that hex editing new tweak files can be slow and tedious. Surely it's not as fun or glamorous as releasing new mods, but it needs to be done. Anyways, thanks for the mention and great job on your new mod.

Oh no you are not a jerk at all...hex editing is very tedious and without those
files my tiny mod would not have been possible...lack of sleep simply contributed to my lack of attention to readme details. Won't happen again

I was just wondering if anyone knows what a realistic ammo loadout would be?
I have not run across that information in my internet travels.
Are Ubi's numbers close? If they are I don't think my 20% increase is unrealistic.
I did that because I often find myself running out on longer patrols.
Im not sure how ammo was stored, Im thinking crates or some kind of racks that would obviously take up a lot of space, since a subs mission is stealth based having a lot
of deck gun ammo wouldent be a prime concern for it's operation...I would think.
On the other hand subs often deleivered large amounts of supplies to island garrisons so I guess if it were fitted properly a sub could carry a lot of shells.
