Default Logitech G940 Reposted

Bad title on first thread so I thought I'd repost this so people wouldn't be confused.

Here goes.
My Logitech G 940 Flight controller set. :

Specs : http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ga.../5855&cl=us,en

Will post review after I give these BadBoys a good workout on IL2 1946

_________________Logitech listened to the Flight Simmers requests.

And came up with a winner.

I am happily retireing my trusty X52 and made for kids rudder pedals. Saitek redesign these.

FF is the only way to fly and these rudder pedals, spaced apart for an adult are excellent and sturdy.

The whole setup is built to last. At $300.00 it's cheaper in price compared to Saitek X52 and rudder pedals and has Force Feedback.

And these are built for an adult.

This might be pricey for the casual flyer but, for the Hardcore.

It's The Only Way to Fly.

I have now tested it with IL2 1946 and LOMAC.

Different as night and day compared to X52 & Pedals.

Besides the fact I now have FFB.

Tighter feel and more precise.

And feels alot more heavy duty.

Runs off it's own PS not the PC's. Bigger motors for more feedback and better duribility.

I can't wait till their Flight Yoke is released.

Will update more as I get used to it and try other FFB flight sims.

Played last nite Janes WWII Fighters and Falcon5 and they play alot better with this set.

About the only planes in FS9 or FSX to fly are Airbus, F-18 or a Piper Cub.

I have alot of addon planes with sticks for both but figure they'll all fly about the same.

Any questions or thoughts ?

If you ever get a free trial account to World War 2 Online, I would very much like to hear how the stick setup does in the planes and also the tanks there.

Other than that, it sounds like a great replacement for my MS Sidewinder. I know what I will ask my wife for Christmas.

Will try and check it out and pm you with the best I can.

I will be the first to admit $300.00 is alot of loot.

But over time it will breakdown to cheap for a whole setup that is well made.

Hey!!! That's a good argument for the wife, why you have to have these.
