Default The Avengers

I was able to catch The Avengers this weekend with my daughters. Good movie. I recommend it.

Was wondering how it was going to work with all those alfa-males sharing the spotlight...

Believe it or not, Iron Man gets the biggest play. And I would say it was a good choice. Robert Downy Jr is a very good actor IMO and plays the part well. Plus Iron Man has some cool hardware. I really enjoyed the character of Iron Man portrayed by Downy. Special effects are very good. The aliens and ships that invade at the end of the move are very creative. Overall a great movie.

The script and direction are classic Whedon. Any fan of his work will love this film.

I have not laughed so hard, in a movie theater, in a very long time.

Iirc, that last time were the Large Marge and headlight goggles scenes in Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

As for myself, I geeked out completely after the credits.

The Avengers is a great movie, I liked the Hulk this time round.

Finally saw it today. I thought everybody got pretty much equal time, or at least fair time. A couple of formerly minor characters had their backstories fleshed out, and overall it was well balanced and a lot of fun. Great special effects.

I hope everybody stayed all the way through the credits for the obligatory scene at the very end.
