And why only in search?

Suspect its a case of solution presenting more problems than original problem.

It'll only be a year or two till spam bots have better visual acuity than even the best of us, never mind you clayp - what then?

And as a revenge you decided to type in dark red on dark grey!

My eyes are only slightly younger than yours and mine hurts too.
Sometimes several hits on "Refresh Image" only reveals even more difficult images to read... sigh.

Perhaps Neal one day will change them to more readable types?

I for one am a fan of natural mathematics.
Don't see it that often, but it sure works. Simply a generated sentence like "Type in: what is twenty minus four" and the proper field for the answer.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be one here as well, I'm saying go to those other two and complain there also. I hope there's a better way, because I can't read them half the time either.

Try and do a forum search. There's now a box with distorted text and numbers in a graphic. You have to decypher what the distorted text says, The irony is that machine are much better at doing this than humans are.
