Default Low-resource Study Sim

Hey everyone,

Would anyone know of low-resource study sims I could install on my laptop? I'm not interested in X-Plane, FSX, etc., but rather older sims (think DOS). I've been searching the net trying to find a copy of Aerowinx PS1 747 sim, but I can't find anyone that sells it. Are there similar sims? Freeware options?

Thanks!

Low resource/DOS and "study sim" I fear are pretty much mutually exclusive. To get a study sim (system depth you want, I assume, or precise IFR instrumentation) you need a certain amount of computer power.

For DOS-level system specs, I see pitchblack. You could try to get an old copy of FS95, FS98, FS2000, FS2002. Basic IFR training you can do with all of these.
