As preparations for the sojourn pick up pace I mentioned to the boy I would need to go into town to pick up some $ and Pesos to which he informed me he had a stash of $ in his house safe.

Gave a generous exchange rate of $ forty to the £

Still need to make that trip though for the Pesos.

Hot humid weather here, dam Met Office said it would be cooler and fresher. I suggest they are sacked and put London Zoo's animals in charge.

It's cool over here... very wet and windy too. Supposed to get thunderstorms between now and 6 o'clock but nothing on the horizon so far

Its supposed to be cooler here today! What a joke its as hot as Monday was and still humid! Looks like wind and rain over the weekend so the Met Office states, I shall believe it when I see it.

Relaxing today, spot of house work tomorrow and more research on cordless vacuum cleaners and so far I have not been very impressed.
