Sorted, looked at a non modded scene dat and compared what was changed, would it be possible to tell me what I have changed and what effect it will have on ROW please ?
I changed
Fog 1 no fog
objectsrelativeZmin from 0.8 to 0
objectsrelativezmax from 0.9 to 0.85

Horizon
Zmax from 1500 to 1000

Other environment
Overhorizon from 20 to 15

Air,Air Fog,etc
LOD from 3 to 1

It now suits me but was just wondering if I have disabled any of the fantastic features you guys put in by doing this?

I believe you can just add it to your RAR and it will work. Do not quote on that. At any rate, I find the program to open this is very easy and very similar to RAR and ZIP. Trust me, if I can figure it out anyone can. Computer Guru I ain't
I think I've still got UnUHA from back in the day, but I don't see any reason to use this high compression tool when the difference between it and the most used on-line format is only a mere 5-10% - unelss bandwidth was under high strain.

PS: UHA won't work with WinRAR (and I doubt they've added support for it in 3.7). I used to work with it a while back: it's great for packing stuff, especially graphics and sounds but can take a hell of a long time to unpack.

Last night it took me 30 minutes to download/unpack/install. Today, I downloaded again/unpacked/installed under 10 minutes. Not to bad. I was not familiar with the UHA program. Today I was and it was a snap.

So far I do not know of any mods that clash. I have been testing with other mods over he past two weeks. What I did was install the mods I must have and then installed this mod right in behind them. I do not believe you need to be in port. Mostly textures that do not affect the mechanics of the game. Leo did advise that for the actual high end reflections to work you need to delete the saved game in my documents/sh4/data/savegames. Of course you loss your career but you can finish your current career with most of all of the mod working for you. Personally, I dumped my career and started fresh to get the full effect

Default Prelim report on ROW(a)

Great work.....had a couple of problems...

System P4 3.2, 256kvid card, 2 gigs Ram.....no problems with FPS or stuttering.

Installed over TM 1.62

Installed per the instructions in the ROW(A) read-me file.

Everything was fine except both cam mods (Arcade or Realistic - per instructions I only installed one not both). When going to free cam the game hung.

XP error report says faulting module was SH4.exe.

Uninstalled the cam mod and went back to stock cam and game ran fine.

Thanks to everyone to worked on/tested this.

please check that you have no old files left someplace hidden deep inside the sh4 folder structure - that kind of this caused most crashes i'm aware of during testing.

do you have any other mods besides tm 1.6.2 installed?

Default The beers on me gents...

Fresh reinstall of game, TM installed, adding all your glorious eye candy now. Help yourselves to the beer fridge, me thinks I won't be peeling my eyes of the monitor for the weekend!

Ok....I'll give it a fresh install and see what happens....

No other mods installed except TM 1.62.

Note: I did have problems with a previous cam mod (sergbuto's) and had to tweak the settings per the instructions from that thread to get it to work (jerkiness - pan problems on bridge).

Thanks again everyone. I'm very satisfied (this cam glitch is just that a glitch.....welcome to the wonder world of Windows )
