One of the most popular, and least expensive, 30-foot cruiser-racers ever built, but there are some trade-offs.

The Catalina 30 may well be the most successful 30' cruiser-racer ever made. Since the Catalina 30
went into production in 1974, output has been steady, and thousands have been built.

Catalina owners frequently trade up through the line.

Looks like I could be sorted but don't want to inform the isp just yet....more compensation and all that

Have a conference call arranged with Neal in a couple of hours so will use that as a test.

Actually, having lived in a Freightliner for three years-logging 350 days a year on the road-a home life indeed-, neither a house nor a boat are particularly pleasing; either one is a 'hanger queen'. the house at least is a sound portfolio investment in California, while a boat is an outright cash-flow extravagance. Both my mom and my grandfather had boats on Long Island Sound in Connecticut, so its a family tradition which I maintain by crewing aboard older gentlemen's toys as a crewman at least once a week in all conditions. Only one other of 9 cousins sails and he is a renowned HobieCat racer. The owners, at 70+, shouldn't be out alone on the water; and I'm still capable of scrambling to-and-fro on pitching decks: raising and lowering the sails, whiskerpoles, capstans, winches and fending off in the marina's tight berthing maneuvers; while they are secure in the cockpit. < the view from my halyard station) A 25 foot Catalina with very tight foot space is sufficient for a 66 year-old's scrambling around. Five more feet would add to difficulty in our shallow (but cheap at $250 a month) marina and ininboard engine is a pain: a faulty out-board goes to the shop with little fuss, and creates less apertures (prop-shaft) in the always leaking hull! The most important equipment on board is the bilge-pump...and three coats of new hull paint...$3000!

I have come to the conclusion us humans are hoarders, I have just spent the last four days throwing out a ton of rubbish and the rest will wing its way to the charity shops and I still got to look at what I can sell.

Been extremely lucky this year, the daughter did my christmas present shopping and wrapped them as well. All I had to do was transfer money into her account

You mean the wedding bills, the vacation bills, the new computer bills, the model airplane bills, the phone bills, the credit card bills, etc?
