Flight sim hardware.

I have FSX and the Wilco airbus vol 1 but to get the most out of the airbus sim I need a seperate throttle(s).Can anybody recommend some appropriate hardware?

CH gear. Using it myself since 10 years and more, would always buy it again. I recommend the Fighterstick (it has more buttons than the other sticks), and the ProThrottle.

Pro Throttle gives you 3 4-way buttons, 1 8-way button (can also be sued as POV), 4 1-way buttons, and a ministick. All of that can be programmed with keyboard commands, even complex sequences and timing-dependent commands, in three layers, if you use that to the full, you have over 70 commands on that throttle.

Using it with the Fighterstick, gives you another 70 command options or so.

Do not try their yoke, though, it has too soft springs, and is hard to find a sufficiently precise neutral pointeven when using the ,manager software for defining a space oin the axis, and even if you use plenty of silicon oil or vaseline or whatever, it does not move nice.

For yokes, I fear nothing leads around investing into one of the more expensive, heavier, more dedicated replicas available.

Thank you for the advice.Part of modelling the 320 properly appears to be how the joystick replicates the aircraft sidestick.Is it worth using the settings built into fsx to do this or download FSUIPC?

Can'T say, I do not use FSX. FS9 has a default version of FSUIPC, whcih I also do not tweak in any way. I aolso do not know the Airbus sim, as I told you when giving you the link.

What stick do you use, and has it a throttle wheel like the Fighterstick does? The throttle axis on the ProThrottle should not behave any different than the wheel then, assuming you bind both in the same way into the sim. thzat should help oyu to assess mif it really is worth it for you to spend the money. If you do no other sim flying than just this a320 for preparation of your real life intentions, then I would say it is not. But if you do fly a lot via simulator anyway, a throttle is worth it indeed. Plus pedals and trackIR.

How is the sim? You promised us a review...!
