You should buy Europa Universalis:Rome Gold instead. Tried GA:R for a bit, wasn't that great.

EUR Gold includes the Vae Victis expansion, which makes it Crusader King II-ish
with it's characters and their invidual ambitions and such. Makes you have to take
care of the political side of things too.

Yeah I've had EU:Rome for ages now, its fun but it carries a lot of the problems of Pre-Divine wind EU:3 like ping pong armies, I need to put more time in at some point. I mainly got GA:R due to being thoroughly impressed with Imperium Romanum, I didn't really get it for the strategy and politics, I got it for the city building which I hope is a bit improved on Imp. Romanum.

Of course the devs have to give Romans Holywood armour like a bunch of derps. ROMANS DIDN'T USE LORICA SEGEMENTA IN COMBAT, PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY NOT BEFORE ROME WAS EVEN USING LORICA HAMATA.

Also new purchase, Cargo Commander for 2.50, already seems to be pretty fun.

Also grabbed Bad Rats for .50 cents, I dunno if itll be that good but eh 50 cents can't complain much.

For you RTS or Tactical squad folks - the DOW/DOWII franchise is on sale - for $9.99

A pretty good deal. I own most of these but not all of them - so I got it just for backups.

Tropico 4 today for $7.99 on steam and Doom3 BFG edition from greenman gaming for $10 (yeah I know doom 3's not the best but it ,all the dlc and Doom 1 and 2 for $10 was too tempting)

You'll love it. There are few things in gaming more addictive than playing as El Presidente.

Not a Steam Sale but a Steam redeem deal:

Hitman Absolution £7.49
Hitman Absolution Pro £9.99

Nice, if you were waiting for a price drop.
