Default Panzer Elite + PE-X

Hi all, new member here.

Old timer fan of PE. I've been dissapointed with Steel Fury, even the latest mod 1.4. Wonderful graphics and tank feel, but the AI and atmosphere, campaign and missions just don't feel up to par. Too bad really.

In the absence of any good tank sims, I recently checked out PE to see what the latest was and WOW!, have they really taken this game to the next level.

Been playing the latest OstpakComplete + PanzerElite3 (which incorporates the latest PE-X). PE-X has really enhanced the realism with this game.

I'm sure you guys already know all about PEX and all the latest mods for PE, but just wanted to drop in and say how much I'm really enjoying PE all over again. What a classicly great sim!

Welcome aboard.

Just a question: is WWII-era a must for you when you talked of "good tank sims", and lack of them? If so, I fall silent. If not, I can help you to become surprised.

Oh I had SBPro PE when it first came out. Modern tanks really aren't my cup of tea though. Great sim BTW.

Weird. A couple others of us, on SimHQ just took up PE again, both PE3 and PE-X. Aldo and the others really have done wonders with this excellent WWII armor sim. I think the addition of it on GOG and a very helpful post on their forum for good mod set and sequence, with links, to upgrade it has elevated its profile again.
