No, theres two objectives in blockade of Germany. one is the 5 AMC ships (done that) the other is sink an AC patrolling the British isles. There is a shaded area to the south of Ireland and I sunk it there. Other people say they got it outside Portsmouth.

Hi Bravo

Thanks for jogging my memory.

The AC is from/to Plymouth so it will be at an angle down from Lands End.

Ever thought about giving Open Horizons a try rather than the stock campaigns?

I sunk a carrier which came from the channel and was sailing straight to west of it. I shadowed it, waited for the right moment and when it passed the red big circle (the extreme east point of the red big circle) and exactly after the "border", the carrier turned right, but I was in position (it was night and I managed to sneak inside the task force near the carrier) and I fired 4 torpedoes and sunk it, but it didn't count!!! I wanna know why...

If you are playing the stock game there are certain ships that count and others that do not.
Blockade of Germany (North Western Approaches) Objective 80,000 tonnes is finding AMC's IIRC?

Yes 5 AMC's Armed Merchant Cruisers like the Rawalpindi and Patroclus they show as red (Warships) on the map another help with ID is they have the Royal Navy Ensign Flag as opposed to the Brit. Merchant Flag . If it is the mission I think it is , you also have to sink a Carrier

There are some traffic from Scapa and Loch Ewe inbound/outbound

There should be plenty of AMC's pass thru the designated area . Don't stray away from patrol zone or they may not count. They are fast movers so don't get spotted . Their guns have a decent range 5 inch I think . Get into attack course submerged as soon as possible . 1 Torp does the job lots of secondary explosions

Default Sinking Multiple AMC That Do Not Count

In the stock game...

I've sank numerous armed merchant cruisers, some on Loc Ewe, and a number out on the open sea in the area of the Blockade Germany. They even show up in my Captain's Log as an armed merchant cruiser.

I've sunk them before completing my mission, and after completing my assigned patrol mission.

None of them have counted in my total.

It is now near the end of January of 1940, so I've moved to try to sink the carrier, and see if that jogs the game to give me credit.

I've had the same issue with the British Coastal Shipping mission as well - sinking ships that should count, but do not.

Since the stock game is quite broken, I'd say it's normal behavior...
Put some mods in it and unlock full SH5 potential.

You've got that right.

I thought I would try to finish the first part just to get familiar with the game before researching what mods will work on my fairly graphically limited old computer.

It is rather frustrating, so say the least.
