Default [Rel]Fuso Beta 1

Japanese Fuso ready for testing, I think.

You can download it here, extract to your mods folder. It has a single mission with it. Weird AA gun but that's what was on there, at least its something different.:hmm:

Uploaded Beta 1.1 with sound fix. There were no ship sounds.

http://files.filefront.com/IJN+Fuso+.../fileinfo.html

Updated the link: forgot the flag. Added

Hope it works OK. I still want to do some tweaking on some stuff I'm not sure about yet. But it works.

Edit: This ship only works in single missions, it will not work in a career due to a mistake which I have not fixed in the upc file and I do not have the time to do it right now.

Nice catch, I didn't even see that. That was when I first got it playable and didn't have the 14" taken out of gunsradar.dat so I used the 8" from the Maya as a placeholder. Forgot that was the pic I used for WIP thread. It has a 14" on it now though.

@ Lagger Actually I am trying to avoid the ships Miner is working on. I am still learning how to do this stuff. And I don't want to release some "junk" when I know Miner is spending a lot of time and will end up with a much better boat, since he will be able to do the stuff I haven't learned yet.

At the moment there isn't any Japanesee Campaign. When I made it I didn't think anyone would want to use it in career mode. You are alone and you can't dive to 250ft to get away from the attackers like you can with a sub and you can only shoot at one at a time so if you run into a task force you will probably lose. It was built with a Gato so you can't use it with the German side. I built it to play with single missions.

You can download the "Maya Task Force and Refit" Single Mission, I put in a Japanese base so you could reload and go wandering around. It is at Wake so it is close to Midway and Pearl where you can find some targets. I don't know if you can save a Single mission, never tried, but on a single mission all of the Allied traffic gets loaded too, so there will be targets. The only difference with a Career is you get those medals which don't mean anything anyway. And you don't need to go to port to buy a deckgun upgrade, the Deck Gun is your main turret.

So you don't need to write missions to use it, just reload your ammo at Wake and go where ever you want and shoot stuff. Same with the Maya is you have that, you can use Wake for either one.

Thank you Ishigami. I had the bridge at the very top at first but I couldn't even see the front of the ship so I moved it down.

You extracted to the MOD folder and enabled it with JSGME? It should show in the American side. It is made with a Gato so it won't show on the German side. The only other thing it could be is some have had some problems with Vista but I don't use it so I'm not sure if included MODs or just saved games and pics.

You are right, I figured I didn't hear it because I was so high up. The dsd files are there, I'll check the links. I'll check it out. Actually it's a new top secret silent propulsion developed by the Japanese, subs can't detect it. But they put it on the BB instead of the destroyer so it doesn't do any good. :rotfl:.

I'll get back to you.

Uploaded the new sound fix. Use the link in the first post or here:

Default Thank You!

I love these IJN surface mods!

I happen to really like the way IJN ships look, and it's such a kick to be able to go around shooting stuff with them.

Thanks again for your hard work!
