I really need to get around to purchasing Kerbal Space Program. Don't know why I haven't yet. It's on the to-do list for when I get home.

Maggie "Red Sonya" McGregor preying on her 21st kill.
Easily the best soldier I've got. Can take out 6-7 aliens per mission if the terrain is suitable. |

I like the crocodile its very fun but make sure you read the operation manual PDF or you wont move you have to "activate" the pantograph by turning handle then turn it once more and turns on some oil pump that you can hear running other wise you'll get 0 amps. You push the left most handle that points towards the rear up twice.

Well I dont know about others that may play it but I like machines plain and simple I like working with engines and have worked on them not on the scale of a train of course. But It is enjoyable to me the sound of an diesel engine at power is wonderful when you are the one that knows how it works and how to keep it working.I used to love taking apart a diesel generator for an inspection fix all the problems put it back together and load test the generator.
We also worked on gas turbine powered generators but I found those to be less interesting you turn them on let them spool up to 100% RPM then turn on the juice and that's it you also get to laugh at guys that try to run one but forget to lift the exhaust cover up which has a kill switch idiot proof machine but a bit boring compared to a diesel. The diesels now those are fun you have people shut them down by pulling the emergency shut off which blocks the air intake and will blow the gaskets if done at load RPM the people that make these idiot mistakes are the ones trusted to work on aircraft. I like controlling the 4,300 HP engine which is what the loco in that photo has not sure the KW output of the DC motor in it but it is alot some run on AC and have a rectifier.Might sound boring to you perhaps. You like to read "Book of Five Rings"(I am guessing) and how to out wit a man by carrying an oar carved into a sword as weapon that is just slightly longer than what your foe plans to face. For me it's part relaxation and part nostalgia. The trains I grew up with have all mostly been consigned to the scrapyard or to preserved railways, so to be able to see and hear these locos in the sim takes me back to the times when summer seemed to go on forever, the days were always just the right temperature and sunny, and all those other clichés.
Ok, not exactly summer I know, but the rain effects are too good! A Crompton (Class 33) on a freight service, something I used to see a lot as a kid. Typical Cumbrian weather. Two Class 37s lead a railtour over Ribblehead viaduct. Fortunately when I went to Ribblehead it was on a rare sunny day! A Hall class on Gods Wonderful Railway (Gone With Regret) A lovely summers day at Bath Green Park, with a 4F coupled up to a local passenger service. A scene I dearly wish I could have witnessed in reality, but alas Bath Green Park is now a car park and the Somerset and Dorset Railway is a fading memory. Just don't tell the woman on the far right who looks like she's about to walk into that lamp-post... |

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was released yesterday and here are some shots.
Goodbye, my fellow soldier... Burn! The goal in this map actually was to pillage the village and kill the peasants... Goal was to kill the enemy king and I got him by an accident . For the king and country!
