I dont see this 3d rudder bug at this unit..
The problem with the radio message sounds like a stock problem.

This is definitely a particle effect from another mod installed over WAC5.01.
Maybe you screwed your installation if it is still present after uninstalling the other mods.
Disable radio messages by deleting the text files in data/campaigns/campaign.

JFO I can test and add after the next patch is released.
Also I can have a look into the Commander files...

"Start return! Home base as directed!" is found on position 4837 in en_menu.txt which comes from HSIE "BDU Messages". I see two options. Investigate further: "...depending on your tonnage sunk, fuel supply and hull damage", or disable them with the HsieOptionsSelector.

I know where it is located, and where it comes from. I'm used to seeing that particular message only when I've been out of torpedoes, very low on fuel, or badly damaged, so I'd assumed it was set to transmit only during those, or similar, parameters.

I do also not have your problem on my rig with the clemson:




Your installation seems to have severe problems as I do not see any guns on the clemson and you report several bugs that are not present at all.


The flying helmets can be from tabbing out of the game and going in again.

I have experienced that problem when I changed the DC Rack from the SH4 to the Stock-Version.
After changing it back the problem disappeared...

Not sure how/why my installation should be corrupted, as I really haven't done anything to it that I can see. This is the order with which I've set up WAC:

  1. Fresh, clean SHIII game, in its own folder.
  2. Copied/pasted jsgme; ran it to establish mod folder
  3. Downloaded self-extracting file WarAceCampaign 5.01.exe
  4. Extracted WAC 5.01 and placed in mod folder
  5. Copied/pasted MultiSH3; ran it and SHIII to establish proper, unique folders
  6. Placed mods to be enabled in mods folder
  7. Enabled mods in appropriate order (see below)
  8. Set up SH3Commander, including it having its own copy of jsgme and mod folder
  9. Copy and paste WAC_5.0_CommanderMod into MOD folder, then enable
  10. Set up desired options in H.sie_V16B1-Patch
  11. Start WAC 5.01 using SH3Commander

Mod List, in order of enabling:

WarAceCampaign 5.01
WAC5.0 Campaign_Atlantic_Baltic
WAC5.01 H.sie Supplement to V16B1_Atlantic_Baltic_Campaign
Gameplay Settings Realism Adjustment (sets renown awarded so I get 100% renown at my realism setting)
O2-Gauges v2
torpedo trail and wake fix
Visible Flags_moderate
Optimized WAC5.01 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe
Zones Config (fixes escort problem with self-sinking at stern)
Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg
Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg fix
WAC5.01 Realistic Hull Damage
depth charge noise - Rev A - WAC 5.0
Real ASW Mod v.3 Beta 4
real ASW - WAC 5.0

It may be possible that the Real ASW mod is what is causing the problem with the DC racks/missing guns; I'll have to experiment with that and see. As to reporting bugs that don't exist, I don't know which ones you're meaning, and, as I've noted, I don't see any reason for my installation to have bugs anyway. Hopefully, between the two of us, we can figure it out.

Also from nations that were neutral?



@Schlechter Pfennig

Well, I only mean the last bugs reported from you... and wanted to point out that there is a mod conflict which your clemson destroyer picture shows.

The other mods with the rudder or the helmet I can not find in my installation.
