Default mission ends too soon

i just got sh4 and when i complete the single mission objective the game stops telling me i completed the mission.

i don't want to stop, in sh3 i liked being able to decide when to leave the action so if i completed my objective i could decide if i was able to continue the battle.

is there a way to set the missions to not end as soon as the objective has been achived?

Same question. In SH3, when palying online with my brother, when we'd finished a mission, we'd surface our boats and sail side by side, grab a screenshot for the album and have a chat about the mission just finished. When we'd had enough, we'd the end the game to get the scores. With SH4 no chance - once last ship has gone then everything stops... I guess this is probably non-modifiable, but it would be nice.....

In SH4, when the mission is completed, I get a box to click that says
"Continue Playing", just click it instead of the "end mission" box....
