Emils, not exactly racing cars compared to the later models

I did try to outrun a couple of Hurris at one point, and even though my initial E was higher they caught up when I had drop throttle to 90 and open the rads a bit because of overheating. Only taking it to the vertical saved my ass. Then again the AI does what it does with the planes and humans do something else.

Yeah, I've been casually browsing this forum and a few other IL2 forums, and I'm beginning to wish I hadn't because of what I've read about IL2's AI. I firmly believe that ignorance is bliss, and so henceforth I will close my eyes and cover my ears and go "lalalalalalala" when someone says something bad about IL2's AI!

Guys it ain't perfect but it was way ahead of any other AI at the time. Been a gamer for about 15 years and believe me it had changed lots.
