Sandbox?

Is german campaigh is sandbox after all? Can I play it as long as I want or after all mission its ends? Is there any mods that do this game a dynamic sandbox with many encounters and interesting features or rewards that I can gain?

Welcome ,

I have never played the "missions " part of the SIM, just the campaign , with the campaign the end is when you either live till end of the war, or you are sunk.

All progress made is continued from first patrol to the end.

not that I have ever heard about, but you can start all over again if you want....LOL

actually, I have played the Op Monsun MOD a few times, much better then the stock German
