Anyway, do you people think we should restrict ourselves only to fighters unless there are not enough or should we also use bombers occasionally?

Tough luck, mate. And I take this opportunity to ask for everyone to check where the friendly planes are before jumping onto an enemy. Nothing is more irritating than using most of your ammo to an enemy plane only for it to be shot down by someone else.

EDIT: Ow yeh, and dont go for the enemy immediatly if you see an friendly plane overshoot it. It takes 3-5 seconds to get back to the enemy's six.

Kill stealing is annoying though with the guys here isn't intentional.

I had a good one with Hunter last night. I was concentrating on a Hurricane (btw I think they are way too hard to kill DM wrong there) and he kept my six clear. The only issue I had was with my AI wingman.

I put a whole magazineful of MG into the Hurri and he only died when he tried to get away from me after I had followed him to the front.

The damage model isnt wrong, the armament in those days wasnt strong enough to do stuff you can with Late war aircraft.

back in the days most aircraft where shot down due engine failure/Fire, lost of controls.

the only thing that helps is pounding the engine with Machine gune fire, because shooting it straight on his Six wont do nothing I had a Hurricane on my six and it gave me a pounding and it did little.

dont go head on with them thought, deadly enough are those .303 to kill your pilot.

Kratos didn't mean you were having a go.

However it is good and realistic if you see someone concentrating on a plane if you track them and keep their tail clear. Then if they run out of ammo or something you can move in...I said to Hunter to finish him off but I guess he didn't hear.

Considering that given the above pilot's absence we should have one more aircraft left at the end of a sortie than usual. On balance it has been decided that Kratos will act in a support roll till further notice.
