@ Mischa,

For me all was ok in historic missions but got ctd as soon as I loaded career. Removed AI sub crew mod and it loaded fine. Might be worth a try.

Ok , so your not using the MEP file list from page 1 . I had ctds with DBSM with my list .

All of that was tried i fear that the wrong patching or menu. txt or who knows user error may be made. for now sure these mods make instabillities for some users.

Sober I noticed something, namely that inertia mods sometime ctd-s in proximity of the german boats. It may be some clue to the solution.

As I thought, It must be user related, for example when I overforce my memory with time compression and then hit external camera, game must do bunch of job additionally to already stressed situation. It has many factors, RAM speed, Processor usage, antivirus check for files, and off course stock instabillity of the executable file. But if we are careful with installation then it works.
For me Baltic campaign without the crash.

Are you playing on max 256 TC . Max 64TC around Kiel etc .

The mod enabler icon has to go in the SH5 folder and then double clicked on to create the folder called mods and it makes a CFG file . Putting a pre existing CFG file and MODS folder in the SH5 folder is no good .

It gets even complicated, guys download mod from Philipp Thomsen thread and then come here for help. Files there are not updated and they still not use Dynamic enviroment so they are all lost why your .mep does not work for them.

He should rename it to Old Sobers mod or update it?!

Now I get rid of the CTDS
