Yep. This is true. But that's why the constant bearing method of Dick O'Kane/Fast Attack is so useful. You can adjust the AOB at the last moment if necessary.

yes... and also because the range is not important if you choose to hit at 90 degree... and the torpedo damage is maxim.. because of the perpendicular angle... and because you can hit 3-4 ships in same time in the same column when you hunt an convoy.. if you are at 90 degree you have some place left for small erorrs also

I noticed you have travel mode enabled .
As far as i know , that means if you use my TC settings then the second TC settings come into effect .
TimeStop=0
RealTime=1
LandProximity=1,32
CriticalDamage=1,32
CrewEfficiency=256
AirEnemyDetected=1,32
SoundEffects=8
CharacterAnim=32
FriendDetected=1,32
EnemyDetected=1,32
RadioReport=1,32
Particles=32
PrayState=1,32
HunterState=1,32
3DRender=32
Maximum=256,32

No... for this one i forgot to change these settings... you saw i run at tc128 in travel mode (yours settings is max 32)... i forgot the travel mode by misteaken... i do not advice to use travel mode when search an patrol area... and when i play SH5 usually i use the sober settings.. wich are the best settings in my opinion if you want to play realistic
