how do you submerge without crew staying outside ?

I went downstairs, then pressed button to go to periscope depth

but 3 people stayed on top as we submerged ??

They go inside, it's just an instant, no-animation transition. That is how it normally works but there are bugs where the crew doesn't animate below (exterior cam shows deck crew at depth) but that's not the player's fault.

Simple surface to recycle air, it happens automatically. Your batteries will charge while you're on the surface as well as your diesel is running. Not sure if they'll magically charge on their own if you just sit there though.

If you stand on the top of the conning tower, it is possible to click the deck gun and assume command of it. One can click the deck gun even though it is almost completely hidden from view by the structure of the conning tower.

On the paper manual that game with the game there was a map legend on the TAI and navigation interfaces (short descriptions of different symbols).

Unfortunately the images in the manual were rather small and it was not possible read them properly. Is this information also available ingame .... where ?

It is that key / x1 time compression on US keyboards i believe. However UK keyboards have it somewhere else and whne i press it i get a german voice stating they are flooding the tubes or something like that.

Forward slash is for the tubes. /
Back slash is for TC. \

Bone question just loaded up for the first time. How do you get your crew to speak in German? and the text be in English?

I think that the + on the numberpad is for the increasing TC and the - on the numberpad is for decreasing of TC

Depth charge launchers on destroyers can be shot with deck gun HE rounds. Makes a nice big explosion

Probably a bad question with all the bugs etc but how can i show my FPS without using fraps, as i have a multicore system was thinking of cutting it back to use 1 or 2, just curious and a way to see FPS would help, thanks.
