Hi all !

I'm very happy that i can join this forum,i can say without doubt its the most helpful, and biggest forum about Silent Hunter III i can find in internet.
I was using information and tips from your posts that help me run and play the SHIII with GWX.
My copy of SHIII was a gift for birthday (don't remember which one) but at this time i was unable to run the game. I discovered it recently last year after a checking in my old stuff in the garage. I play on 37 % realism (I know its an abomination for GWX) but one campaign after another i'm trying harder and harder.

Fun Fact #1: Dietrich Schwan was a real person! He commanded a infantry battalion in which my grandfather was forced to served, he was captured in Normandy in 1944 during the early stages of D-Day.If you wanna want know more just tell me.
