I dunno...both these computers have onboard sound. Nothing like the old AWE16's or 32's. Maybe this game just hates these onboards.

Would you consider a complete driver update, along with a Jave, DX9 Win XP Sp3 update.

I have an on board sound and run Win XP Sp3. My Video card is a 8600 GT
as well. So that means there is hope KdF.
