[WIP] BB New York Class
started work on a New York Class
USS New York (BB-34) - USS Texas (BB-35) It's been some time since I modeled anything & there's not much to show yet but I will show more as she progresses over time. |

looks good, it will be a great new ship for the game or are you going to create a playable version for it too?

cdp has been helping a great deal along the way when he manages to get free time if it's something Technical Specific that I get stuck on like ID's & Nodes. Being He is more of the expert in that area I have already suggested to him to take over the S3D & Scripting End and throw it into his mod but that's all up to him. If not, threw lots and lots of test/ fail /retry I can probably manage it into adding it in as a seperate playable unit like the others. |

update
started work on the hull & really not too happy with it yet, DirectX Meshtools
plugin seems to nerf a few vertex placements in Milk after removing Triangle counts and caused alot of extra work trying to smooth out the mesh so I may end up switching over to lightwave soon. |

There are plenty of nice ships in SH5, but I don´t know if there is a way to extract them.

A very nice model, i am working on a HMS Kent WWI era and your hull segmentation has given me some good ideas. as my ship had a lot of buldges and barbettes to do. thanks and good luck on your project.
