Default Excellent city planning!

Excellent city planning promoting the coexistence and complementarity of transportation and commercial infrastructure with extra care for the safety of the citizens and the quality of foodstuffs...

Like where all the stall holders fold back the stall covers, and then re-open after the train has passed.

talking about population density

I do not want to imagine if one of the train passengers has to take a dump while the vehicle rolls over the vegetable boxes...

That's fine - as far as security standards are concerned

@ Penguin: That's what I thought of at the very first moment

Why would they run a train track through a vegetable market?

That's just silly.

It's probably the other way around. The rail track was there first and the structures were built later.

Fascinating!

Apart from wild guesses at obvious countries, does anybody know where this is?

Edit: Found it - Maekrong, 60 kilometers west of Bangkok

Here's the train's rear pov - http://www.thailandvideoblogs.com/content/view/21/29/

This is amazing. As I watched both videos I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if an unscheduled train came barreling through...
