Amazon SH5 Gold Download
I see that Amazon has SH5 Gold Edition as a download only. I would imagine that I could download it and then burn it to a DVD for safe keeping? Hoping it's not like Steam.

The so-called "Gold" edition contains some extra ships that you can get for free by scoring certain victories in the game through U-Play. By all accounts it's not worth it; virtually a rip-off.
Get the regular edition from Amazon. It's 1/5 the price.

yep, the gold edition of sh3 and sh4 were giving you some benefit or value but the sh5 gold edition is just a marketting ploy or sceme to make money hoping people used to getting gold editions buy it assuming its better
