game won't start help please

i reinstalled SH 5 Nattle of the Atlantic Gold version on my new game PC but i cannot play it anymore because it says in the gamecheck box my graphis drivers are outdated Now the thing is that i have in SLI 2x nVidea GTX 980ti Carfds with the latest drivers on.. How do i fix this?? it seems weird you cannot play a game anymore with a good gaming PC if they still sell this game on STEAM for instance. So what i do wong? i use windows 10 64-bit. My game is a boxed version not STEAM!

the game was manualy patched manually till V1.2 but i cannot start anymore So what i do wong? Here is what i did sofar...

I uninstalled everything also the my Documents folder reinstalled it again updated it to V1.2 and then again tried to run the game but again all it shows me is the intro movie and then nothing but a UBI pop-up that says which are my games etc and play. Now if i press play then it starts again with the intro movie, so it's a loop lol i cannot go past this point now at the bottom there is a little help button and after oressing it it says this....

INCOMPATIBLE PROGRAMM

i did use the compatibility programm to use windows XP with service pack 3 ( i tried windows 7 yesterday) but it is still incompatible

anyone has any suggestions? i did my game in a shop when it was new and it has permanent internet connetion

P.S. i am not allowed to put in an attachment aswwell (DXDiag)

No idea , I have boxed dvd and windows 10 64 bit . Installs no problem at all .

Information only recommends the drivers that were around at the time of the games release. Yours will exceed those minimum requirements.

You did not mention on re-installing whether you also un-installed or re-installed the Game Launcher.
If you kept the game launcher then you should be able to see the Uplay screen.
On the Games Tab UPlay already knows you have SH5 so it should just be able to press on the SH5 showing and the play button should show.

SH5 is compatible with Windows 10 so should not need a compatibility mode.

i will delete SH 5 and reinstall it all tomorrow morning again i'll leave it on wondows 10 but i am sure it still won't run then. Gonna put both launchers on administrator (UBI gamme launcher is a bit weird aswell) it keeps hanging right to side of the start game button. It is a big emptey square with a turning circel in it as if it has to load something that isn't there and also other buttons no work it takes me a website 9or at least it try's) only to read website is no longer availeble.

The Game Launcher does not use the 64 bit application.

Before uninstalling SH5 uninstall the Game Launcher from the Control Panel's Program and Features.

If you are still having a problem then uninstall SH5 from the Control Panel's Program and Features.
Run the Ccleaner registry cleaner and reboot your system.
No need to uninstall the Game Launcher again and you always have a back up in the zip file.

Ok reinstalled the Game again and get this UBIsoft pop-up again about the driver version wich says..

Your system is not compliant with the minimum requirements to play the game. You should look at the details to know which requirements are not satisfied and upgrade it. Driver version 176.33 should be 191.07 accprding to UBI.

I run atm v released onersion 378.40 24-01-2017

Ok besides that i did in this order the following..
Made the gamelauncher and the uodater both administrator
Update the game to version 2.1.0
tried to do this: Post #5 Update SH5 From v1.0.5.0 To v1.2.0 Immediately After Installing but it says there already a new installer present so it won't install and then there is also this box that tries something to load but will never do that on Uplay i can click the play button there aswell but then again it shows just the intro movie

but it does all my other UBI games that i have.

tried to run the game.. still only shows the intro movie. lol i gonna give up it's riddiculous wht you must do to install a game from UBIcrap

i do not know enough apparently from installing games, programms/software or PC's in general to get this going again

This is because your drivers were not around when the game was released so is immaterial and irrelevant to you.

Why not give it 1 more go?
You have the dvd version which is good.
Go to your Control Panel's Program and Features.
Uninstall SH5
Uninstall Ubisoft Game Launcher.
Run the Regisry cleaner CCleaner

Reboot your system.
Install from your dvd and choose custom settings.
Do not install in the Program files (X86) directory.
Install on any drive as for example D:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5
Install the German crew language if you are going to use a mega mod or for your own choice.
Follow the instructions untill it finishes.
Exit back to the desk top.
Now is the time to update SH5 and the Game Launcher.

Game Launcher internet problem if you get it just press the Esc Key.
Start your game from the SH5.exe and you should get to the Uplay screen.
You may have to log in or just select SH5 from the Games Tab.

Ok will try again but uninstalled now many times and let CC Cleaner run and sofar it not helped but i will follow your e-mail step for step in the order as you posted. Will let you know how it turned out

wel i did everything exact as you said and now i get a new pop-up one i not seen before.. it says game sychronization with cloud failed.

What do i do now? i reinstalled the UBI launcher again aswell

Have no idea if this will work but it seems video card related, I dont have a SLI setup but I understand you can disable one video card and use the PC as a one GPU setup, see if that works for you. I seen this help for other games with SLI users.

Like others here Im sure, Im using a new Windows 10 system with GTX1080 card and all works fine.

I have just gone through all the same issues as OP because I went with a non-steam version. All is working per instructions from THEBERBSTER, thanks! My only issue is I dont have the latest patch which if I recall was ver 1.2? How can we get the current version before we mod?

I used amazon digital download by current version is 1.0x

Thanks THEBERBSTER, before your post already started on a fresh install from Uplay instead of my amazon digital download maybe the hard way but that got me to version 1.2. Got as far as main menu all seems to work, now the fun with Mod installing.
