It works fine for me; a steady 35fps.
I redownloaded it, checked its CRC (test is ok), SH4.exe is always in the same folder (main directory), i put d3d9.dll and antilag.cfg files in the same folder as SH4.exe (as i done with SH3), but...nothing happened (nothing bad too, lol).

I use the same training mission, the one with a lot of 3D objects (island, many boats and one or two airplaines) to perform my tests, as i did with sh3.

Strange, isn't it, 'cause you said that it looks good for you...and certainly for a lot of peoples too.

Why did such terrific things happened to meeeeeeeeee, whyyy ? (= nervous breakdown)

What is your graphic card manufacturer, ATI or nVidia ? (maybe this dll is more difficult to set with an nVidia grafX card)

Try it with out the antilag.cfg and reset your vid card back defaults

Im running a ATI 512 on a laptop and currently all those settings are on default!

Not sure about SH4 since I dont have it so not up on what the antilag.cfg is about, but I can make an educated guess...lol

hi, mate,

Yes, i will try without antilag.cfg and will change quite a bit my nVidia settings, as these one also include a kind of RenderAheadLimit parameter (which may interfer with antilag.cfg ?)

One important detail : i use Dox optimized nVidia Driver, ver. 185.68 since 2 or 3 months. No problems with any of my 3D games or tools.

See you later,

What I see, putting fpslimit antilag.cfg of 35, I have a superposition of two fps (action = ctrl + F8). First FPS higher than 40, 2nd 60/80.

Just found out that it doesn't work with the StarForce free SH3 edition released by 'Green Pepper' and 'Purple Hills':

Try this:
Remove SF It removes only f...ing SF drivers.
I hardly recommend to remove these drivers. My experience: when I installed SH3 the first time in March 2005 three DVD drives and one mainboard got damaged within four months. Maybe accidently but i don't think so...

What I found: Antilag works with the SF contaminated sh3.exe
and the cracked one [done by 'Reloaded'] but doesn't work with the official noDVD sh3.exe.

No - AFAIK the english and german files are identic...

h.sie's lesson works only for the official noDVD sh3.exe... ...released by:

Green Pepper and Purple Hills provide a low-priced SH3 without SF protection.

...my wish would be, that the "Antilag" MOD is working with the RezFix...(both uses a different .dll File)...

Best regards,

Havnt encountered that problem, I originally had SH3 on a XP OS but upgraded the comp and got stuck with with vista pro.
Have used that remove tool on this vista installation and attempted to manually get around SF a few times.
Even scouring the reg its hard to get rid of it.
Would have to be a clean install and it will be sweet,
Just havnt got around to it

With out the anti lag .dll the game loses its crispness on some mods for me
so im going to have to figure a work around to get both things to mix...
this should be interesting...

Indeed I see where h.sie is going...

Ok cool thanks for the heads up Steelsquare bear!

Just out of curiosty/clarification does the antilag.dll work if you replace the rez fix .dll?
Suppose it kills off the rez fix eh?
Or ctd etc..

Or you have and tried and just to different mate?

I used a rez fix solutuion 3 years ago or so one that was mounted in some windows type programme and IIRC it was keygety

Which rez fix are you running?

It's possible to manually get rid of SF:

Step 1:

Go into registry and delete following keys [maybe for the first three keys you have to change user rights before deletion -> right click]:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SFD RV01

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SFH LP02

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SFS YNC02

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sfdrv01

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sfhlp02

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sfsync02

HKCU\Software\Ubisoft

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Do a reboot

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 2:

Delete the following driver files in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\:

sfdrv01.sys

sfhlp02.sys

sfsync02.sys

optionally - depending of the update state of StarForce:

sfdrv01a.sys
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't swap step 1 and 2 otherwise Windows won't boot anymore...!!!

That's it.

This "patch" works with a SH3 modified by 4GbPatch? I obtain excellent results with the 4GBPatch...

Many thanks!

Hi !

I use the "DX9HiResFix" to set the Resolution to 1280 x 1024 !

And the ResFix comes with own d3d9.cfg and d3d9.dll Files for use with the ResFix MOD !

I mean this MOD: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1092

You can download you and look into it....!

It only works either the one or the other MOD, both do not go together!

Best regards,
Magic

Magic 111 yes Im familiar with that rez fix but dont use it,
as it lags my rig in FPS

Catch 22 mate! If I figure a fix/work around ill post it here...

Just make sure that you have not already loaded the original dll (ie: running another game, etc..) else the windose possibly will not load the modded dll, resulting in no change!
