Default Is Hull damage flow noise modeled?

So, while I'm trying to save the world this morning, yet again, I sustained damage. More than once in shallow water, but I've still got a prop turnin'. I'm pretty sure the MAD has made being in the shallows. So, MAD as hell, I'm pretty concerned that I've lost the ability to perform 'silent running' and am instead a sort of a beacon. Of course, that is even worse if your bubbling and not trying to be a decoy. Is that true in this game?

So as I was bubbling on the bottom today, yet again, I noticed that the audio output does indeed produce the sounds associated with them leaking out much like a decoy. I could even the pan the bubbles while inspecting the damaged boat. Of course, I'd been bubbling before as well but was ... busy shall we say.
