No manual work anymore. Just run it on your installation using S3F and then much fun.

Ah yes, and before anything goes wrong permit me to remind you to read page#1 of this thread and keep these instructions to the letter.

Well my wife just rolled in, so I'll close here. Again, thanx for a great tool in FRONT-END. Can't wait for the next installment ... Sounds like you travel a bit, so if your ever in Baltimore, I owe ya a beer.

True. The supplemental files that I am using here (the code is not yet public) are the files that are commonly known as the "supplemental files" for example for GWX...

Let's see when I can get all that completed...

Greet yer wife and tell her to get those cervezas cooled

Default = NEWS UPDATE ON THE STIEBLER-PATCH-MODULE (S3S) =

Hey folks,

after some nice help from grandmaster Stiebler I can give you some news...

The S3S works this far:
  • it verifies if you have provided an original Stiebler-archive in the same directory as S3F
  • if not, it will download from Stiebler's site
  • in either case it verifies the MD5Sum so that only an original Stiebler-archive is going to be used
  • that verified archive is then unpacked
  • ...
  • it then verifies if S3H or H.sie-patch has been applied
  • if not, it asks you to confirm execution of S3H
  • if that is done S3S continues
  • ...
  • ...
And I have recoded the module for renumbering.

This is as far as I got until today...

Will keep you updated.

Next...

The S3S is not only a one-shot-go, it now has an own menu with CHECKBOXES

[x] - 4C (the basis patch = always ticked on)

[ ] - 4C_Use_EnvSimAct
[ ] - 4C_Use_AI_Sensors.dat
[ ] - 4C_Use_CAM-SHIP-Fix
[ ] - 4C_Use_ChangeGridMod
[ ] - 4C_Use_WeatherMeterMod
[ ] - 4C_Use_RadarOnTurms

When selecting either, any or all of the additional sub-mods, their very mod-folders are generated and so everything is reversible.

That is nothing related to Subsim or S3F. The links have been reported working fine for >3 years now.
That are your security settings - which apparently block something, so check there.

Cheers!

Exclamation h.sie's wolfpack mod not working

Hi Blitzkrieg or anyone who can help me, got a small issue with the front end mod. The issue is with wolfpack mod in h.sie's automated file. I know it works because all the other options I have selected in h.sie's options selector are working in game.

This is what happens:
1. convoy sighted, I send radio report and bdu tells me your the contact holder report hourly or something like that.
2. Sent first report and others hourly accordingly and got messages then saying sending boats, keep regularly hour transmissions. After the fourth report they tell me Pack is on the way, use hourly homing signals or something like that.
3.After that message I get no more even though I kept reporting hourly, but after 6 more hours of following the convoy no u boats came, no merchants hit by a.i. torpedos.
4.Every one of my sent messages said convoy speed 0, convoy direction 0 like it wasn't calculating, wondering if there's something wrong with my install.

Can someone explain to me how this is suppose to work?
