Icon1 Navigation Map image file

Hello everyone,

i wonder where is located the file responsible of the view of the Navigation Map in SH4?

I don't like the look of the Navigation map in the FOTRSU mod (the SH4 stock map) and i would like to replace it. It is a dds file?

Thank You in advance for reply!

Best wishes

Jakub

See the Navigation maps link in my sig below. If those are not to your liking, it does tell you which files to edit.

Hello fred8615,

thank you for the answer and help!

I am using currently RSRDC_TMO_V502 along with TMO 2.5 and OTC 1.5.

It seems, that OTC 1.5 replaced the stock SH4 Navigation map with a better looking colored map with different color shades for shallow and deep waters. It also shows the difference in the terrain hight.

The main file is Map_Strategic.dds.

Your map mod also looks good - very detailed.

I decided to download and enable through JGSME both Your Nav Map Make-Over v2.1 and NMMO Reverse Ocean Colors Add-on mods.

I like the more detailed Navigation Map with additional slots and islands named correctly.

It seems, that You added few new allied submarine bases - i hope that they are working to get re-fuel and re-armed during career patrols.

Best wishes

Jakub

NMMO 2.1 is not my mod. It's by Nbjackso. He's the one who added the extra bases. The Reverse Ocean Colors is mine.
