Hey , i have a "problem".
When i load up the game and open the map for the first time costum map markers appear for like a milisecond then disappear and the stock sh5 markers show up. Am I the one who f**kd up something or is it a bug?

Hi Subsim, i would like to share my problem with TDW new UI and how i manage to fix it.

The problem was that I had a Black box in the upper left and the chart box stuck in the middle.

Long history short: I had downloaded a DDS viewer to see what was the New UI addons was about, without the need to install and launch the game. But what happened was that the DDS viewer had modified, somehow, the textures and was the reponsable for all the mess (at least I think it was)

All i had to do was unnistall the DDS viewer and everything worked like a charm.

I am REALLY gratefull for all the modders and the people who make such good quality tutorials. The world need more of you people.

PS.: Sorry if there is something wrong in the english. You see, english isn't my native language

Cheers
Guilherme

Default Not working right with Silent Hunter 3 settings???

Have followed the install directions to the T, and have triple checked my steps just to make sure i put it in right. But heres my problem, i set it up to use the silent hunter 3 dials but yet coming into game it looks as if "most" of the controls are still in silent hunter 5 style. Now i did read that the mod could possibly be overwritten if other mods overwrite it. I also have read about it being in a certain order, now does it have to be the last mod activated in JSGME or the first as long as it is not overwritten by other mods???

Hi DG
Is your Option File Editor Viewer installed in the game files.
Tutorial

If it is a stand alone version you need to disable the NewUI mod make the changes to the OFEV and enable the NewUi mod again.

Can anyone tell me where the old user interface is with all TDC options and the compass rose and telegraph ? It has vanished from the newest WOS version somehow

I do not like this.

Hi Ashikaga
Are you referring to the SH3 dials setup?
If so you need to make a change in TDW's Option File Editor Viewer using the UI Tab.

**Feedback for 7.5.0**

When using a menu.txt for a language which is not English, then all crew voices, dial feedback voices are gone (you no longer hear them).
Maybe say this in your section above so the user is warned and can chose not to change the file. It takes long to find the cause...

The 'red recognition manual' for the XO dialogue is very cumbersome and takes much room in the optics. Why not change/remove it like in the latest TWoS version?
